CHANDRAYAAN 3

 CHANDRAYAAN 3

September 2021, Chandrayaan-3 had been announced by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as a follow-up mission to the Chandrayaan-2 lunar mission. Chandrayaan-2, launched in July 2019, included an orbiter, lander, and rover. However, the lander (Vikram) experienced a hard landing on the Moon's surface.

Chandrayaan-3 was expected to focus solely on the lander and rover components to achieve a successful soft landing on the Moon. It was intended to address the shortcomings of the Chandrayaan-2 landing and to demonstrate India's capability to successfully land on the lunar surface.

Launch Date :

Chandrayaan-3 was launched on 14 July 2023, at 2:35 pm IST as scheduled, from Satish Dhawan Space Centre Second Launch Pad in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, India. The spacecraft entered lunar orbit on 5 August 2023.

Keep in mind that developments and plans in the space sector can change rapidly, and there might have been updates or changes to the Chandrayaan-3 mission after September 2021. I recommend checking with official sources such as ISRO for the most up-to-date information on Chandrayaan-3.
