The G20 is a powerful forum for shaping global economic policy. The group's decisions can have a significant impact on the global economy, and its members are some of the world's largest economies.

The G20 is also a controversial forum. Some critics argue that the group is undemocratic, as it excludes smaller countries from the decision-making process. Others argue that the group is too focused on the interests of the world's largest economies, and that it does not do enough to address the needs of developing countries.
